For the last two or so weeks, the Daily Monitor has been delaying online publication of some of its print newspaper articles. In some cases, the content has been delayed for more than a week. The move is intended to prop up print sales.

Decoding the Daily Monitor and Jumia Food partnership

The partnership will see the two companies capitalising on each other's strengths. Jumia Food has probably the only decent business-to-consumer delivery operation in Kampala which will help Monitor, while Jumia is eyeing Monitor's wide online reach.
